Introduction
In this documentation, we will talk about how you can use an Aximmetry Instant scene.
Setting up the scene
Selecting the scene
Open Aximmetry Instant.
You will be greeted with the following screen:
Here you can choose a scene that you wish to use.
NOTE: Notice how the installed scenes are at the top of the list and the ones that are not installed are below and are also marked with - not installed -.
Setting up input and outputs
Aximmetry also tries to automatically detect your Video / Tracking inputs and set them up. You can see it at the bottom of the window in the INPUTS AND OUTPUTS section.
Here you can adjust the:
- Rendering frame size - This will be the output resolution of your production.
- Rendering frame rate - This will be the output framerate of your production.
- Calibration Profile - This is the calibration profile that you can create with Aximmetry, more on this here.
- Also, you can choose if you want to Use Camera Tracking or not.
If you wish to use a stationary camera or you do not have camera tracking, you should uncheck the Use Camera Tracking checkbox.
NOTE: If you want more control over your inputs/outputs you can click on the ADVANCE SETUP button that will bring up the normal Startup Configuration window.
Pressing START
After you have set up your inputs and outputs, you can click on START. This will load the selected scene with the selected input and outputs.
Aximmetry Instant will guide you through some steps to set up your green screen studio and keyer. These steps are semi-automatic, requiring only minimal user contribution.
Once you have finished the setup steps, you will be greeted with the following control board:
With Tracked Camera:
Here you can set up the parameters again, start recording or streaming.
With Stationary Camera:
Here you can set up the parameters again, change the virtual camera angle, switch between moving and stationary virtual camera, start recording or streaming.
And your scene in the preview window below:
NOTE: Aximmetry will also output the final composite over your selected output device.
Selecting a different scene
If you wish to open a different scene, all you have to do is go to File/Open. This will bring up the Startup Configuration, and then you can choose another scene then click START.
Aximmetry saves the cropping parameters, so you do not have to do them again for each scene.
NOTE: You should do the setup steps once per production type(tracked, virtual) then Aximmetry will save the parameters until you close the software.
